Automated Import Program
The Everest AIP is an Everest Add-on (purchased separately). The Everest AIP automatically populates the Everest database with source data on a scheduled basis from external sources. The AIP is a feature enabled within the Everest Event Manager
The Event Manager automates scheduled events on the application server like Scheduled Notifications via SMTP email (standard feature) and the AIP updates (Add-on feature, purchased separately).

Database Connection
The Database Connection in the Event Manager should point directly to the Database itself.
Configure Mail (required for Scheduled Notifications only)
Configure Options
The AIP utilizes data import formats consistent with Setup | Imports. Select the checkbox for each of the following data sets the AIP will import:
1. Accounts
2. Contacts
3. Users (passwords are not imported via the AIP)
4. Products
5. Equipment
Frequency:
The AIP schedule may be set to a repeating frequency according to the following numeric values:1 = import every day
2 = import every other day
3 = import every third day
etc…Start Time:
The AIP start time may be set to a specific hour of the day.

Great Plains
The database connection parameters are required in Setup | GP Connection, enabling a connection to the source database itself.
Oracle, SAP, SQL Server
A View of the source data must be created, cross-referencing the data names so that the Everest AIP can read the source data tables and also to add any necessary selection criteria, default values, etc.
TXT
The TXT format is an optional SAP data export format that is not typically used.
