Returns Tab
Return Authorizations are generated and a completed RMA letter can also be printed or emailed to the Account Contact. Each Return Authorization is generated with an expiration date and can be tracked to completion with a final disposition.
The RMA number is generated automatically by Everest or it can be manually entered so that a user can type a previously generated RMA number from a separate accounting system or ERP software.
Product(s) identified on the Product Tab are inserted into the bottom of the RMA window. Double-click on a listed Product to update Quantities:
Once the returned items are processed the Date Recieved, Disposition, Amount and Memo fields can be completed and the Authorization Closed. While an RMA may be Closed, the related Concern and/or Actions may remain Open.
RMAs cannot be deleted after the RMA is created. Instead, they are Closed and the User may type a note in the Disposition Memo to explain why the RMA was not processed.
A list of Open or Closed Return Authorizations will appear in View | Return Authorizations.
