New Concern

New Concern is a Main Menu option designed for rapid data entry and easy duplicate account search all in one window.  Small call centers and consumer-oriented customer service departments are ideal environments to utilize this feature. It is optional and may be disabled because a New Concern button is always available when an existing Account is selected or after a New Account is saved and selected. The difference when using this New Concern screen is that no Account Lookup or New Account is necessary before a User begins entering a New Concern.

Access to the New Concern screen is enabled within the Menu options for each User Group in Setup | User Information | User Groups.

Lookup Account
Opens the Account List to search and select an existing Account for the New Concern.

Match Accounts
Find any existing duplicate accounts based on any matching data in the following fields:

  1.  Account Name
  2. Account Address
  3. Account Phone Number

Matching results are displayed on screen so the user may avoid duplication of an existing Account or discover the same personal name associated with other addresses.

Clear
Removes all unsaved data from all of the fields so the screen is clear and ready to be used again.

More Details
Saves the Concern and saves a New Account when necessary. Proceeds to the full Concern View enabling access to all data fields, Actions and Attachments.  This will be a normal workflow for many Users since it can be necessary for the Originator to complete data entry in other Concern Tabs and Fields because that is more than what can be captured in the New Concern screen alone.

Save and Start New
A Save and Start New button facilitates rapid data entry common for users in high volume call centers who are solely Originators of most Concerns. In this workflow, Originators can quickly input and save the primary data, then be immediately ready to capture the details from the next caller.

Close
Exit the New Concern window and returns to the previous screen.
