Sales Activities
Activities are used to document actions taken with accounts that are not directly related to concerns. They generally include phone calls, meetings, email and letter correspondence. The Activities tab defaults to list Open Activities. Click on the radio buttons to show Closed Activities or All Activities. Account Reps can access their Open Activities by selecting Sales Activities from the main View menu.
The Subject is inserted into the subject area of the email message.
Account Contact is optional so that Activities may also be recorded that do not involve a specific Account contact person.
Activity Types are established using Setup | Drop Down Lists | Activities. The Select Notice drop down list for Activities includes Notifications checked for use with “Activities” when a Notice is created or edited in Setup | Notification Templates | Notification Titles.
